5th sem......she got 89.00%..for celebrating success she  was eating panipuri with her friends and suddenly phone rang up...the voice behind that was so miserable and lady behind that voice was her mumma....she had goosebumps inkling that omnious clouds gathered to rain and rinse her happiness..she was barely can utter into words....and  unable to answer....An reflex arc of her mind initiated...she stood up...told her friend  to drop her at home....she knew what had happened...with the sorrowing drowning mind she rang the bell...no one came to open the door...Alas mumma opened the door...she swallowed  her tears to handle mumma....JUST ANOTHER SAME  DAY...DAD DRUNK TOO MUCH...MUMMA'S ONE EYE WAS BULGED OUT BECAUSE HE HIT HER WITH HIS VICIOUS PUNCH...NO CELEBRATION...NO CAKES.....ONLY 89% AND UNEATEN PANI-PURI PLATE... SWALLOWED TEARS...GAVE THE BIRTH TO "IRON LADY"...

               औषध पडत होती, झुरत होती, पडत होती, झुरत होती, क्षणाक्षणाला मरत होती, पण तसुभरही घाबरत नव्हती.... लहानपणीच कडवट पचवायला शिकली, पस्तिस रुपयाच्या चपलीने मरणअंतर कापायला शिकली, कष्टाने निगरगट्ट झालेल्या  माईच्या हातात हात घालुन झगडायला शिकली, 'बाप' नावाच्या वांझ लाकडाचं ओझं निपचित सोसु लागली, सोसताना त्रास व्हायचा, रगत गळायचं, अश्रुचं ओझं ऊचंबळून बाहेर पडायचं, कोणाला सांगायचं, कोणाला बोलायचं, चिघळलेल्या जखमेवर ऊगाचच मीठ का उगळायचं, क्षणाक्षणाला मरायचं पण तसुभरही नाय घाबरायचं.. शंभर रुपयाच्या कपड्याने अंग झापायचं, पस्तिस चं खेटर आन्  दोन पैशाच्या रबरानं बाईचं बाईपण सावरायचं.. भाकरीचं पीठ भेटणं मुश्किल असायचं, मग तोंडाला फासायचं पावडर ऊगाचच का घ्यायचं.. लाल रक्तानं सारं अंग भिजलेलं असायचं, मेकअप करून का अश्रुचा खारट पाट दाखवत फिरायचं.. क्षणाक्षणाला मरायचं, पण तसुभरही नाय घाबरायचं... पडत होती ती, झुरत होती ती, माईच्या आधारानं पुन्हा सावरायची ती, होतं कोण तिच्या जीवनात, खायला भाकर न देणारी निष्ठुर नात...
